Recently, a video titled "Dr. Yunus Announces Ban on BNP, Takes Side of Awami League" has gone viral on the internet.

The Rumor Scanner team’s investigation has revealed that Dr. Yunus did not announce a ban on the BNP. Instead, the video circulating with this claim was created by editing together footage from different unrelated events.

In this regard, an investigation revealed a report published on the YouTube channel of the mainstream electronic news outlet Jamuna TV on November 2. The segment from 00:46 seconds to the end of the statement by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, featured in that report, was found to be used in the discussed viral video.

The segment from 00:05 to 00:36 of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's speech, broadcasted on Channel 24 on November 2, was included in the discussed video. Upon reviewing these videos, no information supporting the highlighted claim was found.

To ensure further accuracy, the verified Facebook page of the Chief Adviser was reviewed. However, no information was found that supports the discussed claim.

Moreover, no news or information regarding such a declaration by the Chief Advisor has been found in the media or any credible source.
