An investigation by the Rumor Scanner team found that the video circulating online is not authentic. It was created using artificial intelligence technology.

Inquiries with international media outlets and reliable sources revealed no trace of the original footage. According to the official website of the Global Sumud Flotilla, 44 vessels are participating in the mission. However, the viral video shows a number of ships several times higher than that figure.

Further examination of the circulated video identified irregularities in the appearance of the ships and surrounding elements—characteristics typically found in AI-generated content.

Moreover, a review of related videos published by international news outlets (1, 2) found no match with the one in question.

To confirm this, Rumor Scanner tested the video using the ‘Deepfake-O-Meter’ detection tool based on the ‘AVSRDD (2025)’ model. The model’s analysis indicated a 100 percent probability that the video was generated using artificial intelligence.

Therefore, the claim that the Global Sumud Flotilla is advancing toward Gaza, based on this video, is entirely false.
